Sundae Spa has teamed up with Make-A-Wish to run a campaign to raise funding to build a MOBILE SPA that will benefit Make-A-Wish kids in many ways.

Wish Upon A Sundae Spa

Help deliver a delicious on-the-go,interactive adventure to kids who wish to be just like other kids

Wish Upon A Sundae Spa is partnering with a national charity to hit the road bringing Sundae Spa to kids who can't come to us. Sundae Spa - a spa experience designed just for kids needs to go mobile! Combining science with a spa experience makes kids want to learn while they feel good about themselves. We have always been active in the community but realized that not all of our own wishes or the wishes of kids who are experiencing illness have been met. Please help us make wishes come true.

Our Story
Imagine sitting back enjoying a cotton candy pedicure while you devour a princess ice cream sundae specially prepared for you. Then you move on to fruit loops manicure topped off with a hair wrap in hot pink and orange and some glitter make-up to complete the day of spa perfection while enjoying a heavenly candyland ‘Sundae Spa’ atmosphere complete with cupcakes on the walls and cherries hanging from the ceiling. Then imagine that you are only 3 to 14 years old. It’s just like a dream come true. And that’s exactly what Sundae Spa is. It’s the Swan family of Wolcott, Connecticut’s vision of a fantasy business brought to life.
Sundae Spa is the brilliant concept of science teacher Kimberly Swan with the support of her husband Ron and the seven girls they raised. The family decided to become the sole investors in this amazing venture after a two-year search for outside capital and opened in 2010. Along with family members, the Swans personally constructed the spa. They now have two locations in Connecticut that are family owned and operated.
Fast forward six years later and here we are trying to make wishes come true for others by partnering with a national charity dedicated to making wishes come true for kids with medical issues by going mobile. Wish Upon A Sundae Spa will make the Sundae Spa dream a reality for those who can’t visit our two locations!
The possibilities are only limited by location so by creating the Sundae Spa mobile which will actually be built by this talented family opens the door to creating fairy fantasies and Magical dreams.
Initially we plan to launch this program by bringing our Sundae Spa Mobile to four locations - Hartford, CT; Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; and New York, NY and hosting 12-15 children of the charity for the best party ever. We will be auctioning a party in each market and giving all the proceeds to our charity partner. In addition, the mobile spa has created magical party and event packages dedicated to this charity and a percentage of all parties sold will be directed back to the charity for more wishes. Let's not forget, it is always available to the Charity at NO CHARGE for the kids events.
We at Sundae Spa would like to give a special thanks for all the support from:

Sunshine Kids

The Sunshine Kids Foundation adds quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with exciting, positive group activities, so they may once again do what kids are supposed to do . . . have fun and celebrate life!

United Way Book Drive

Each year during May the United Way Emerging Leader Program coordinates a book drive to benefit the Summer Reading Spots. The Summer Reading Spots are an opportunity for children in the community to come for an hour of reading in the park and go home with their very own book!

Milford Schools

"Milford Public Schools will be a progressive school district in which students are prepared to achieve at their highest level, surrounded by an engaged community that is proud of its educational system."

Girl Scouts

Since 1912, Girl Scouts has helped Connecticut's girls build courage, confidence and character. While we have always remained true to Juliette Gordon Low's vision, we are constantly evolving. That's why we say we're 100 years young! Join us, and see how Girl Scouts discover themselves as they explore their world, connect with others and take action through activities and programs that are relevant and exciting to girls today.

Pajama Program provides new pajamas and new books to children in need nationwide, many of whom are waiting to be adopted. These children live in group homes, shelters and temporary housing facilities and are shuffled often from one place to another. Many of them have been abandoned, abused or neglected. Most of these children have never enjoyed the simple comfort of having a parent tuck them in at bedtime with warm, clean pajamas and a bedtime story. Some of the children are living with their families below the poverty level, in desperate need of food, clothing and shelter. These two simple gifts of pajamas and books let the children know that someone cares - sometimes these are the only new things they have ever received.
